Moments. 

According to wikipedia.com, moments can refer to many different concepts. It could either be related to physics or mathematics ... 

Err? not exactly the definition I needed! .. I was referring to special, precious memories shared with your loved ones or unexpected priceless experiences or events with random people that makes it special -- there, moments defined. 

Well, in case you haven't noticed yet, I am one of those sentimental, cheesy, kinda-nostalgic type of girl. I am a sucker for anything that makes me say "awww!" .. I gush over the cutest baby shoes, to the wackiest family picture to the royal wedding of Will and Kate! .. Okay! Lets say it together ..
Corny! That is what i am! But i have already accepted that fact a long time ago. It's a disease! haha. 

My moments come in different form. It may either be planned or spontaneous. It could either involve a person, thing, place or all of the above. Its simply a good story on its own that can be told over and over again and when you remember it, you smile. Its a happy thought. Its therapeutic. It calms the nerves. 

Ok. so before I sound like this is going to be another cheesy post (which i think will be!) .. I was browsing through my albums on my Facebook account when my mind started getting hyper again and thought that maybe, I can share some of the best moments captured on cam ..  and now, I present to you my TOP 12++ MOMENTS from 2009-present  ... 

*drumroll please! here we go ... 

1. o1.o3.o9 | our version of "The Beatles Crossing Abbey Road" -- 2oo9 kick off with the best-est friends. ever! It was King's birthday and everyone was home! No excuses! It was one night of pure fun and making fun of each other -- or was it just Vanessa? LOL

2. April 2oo9 | my 23rd : i just like celebrating birthdays in general. it always is a special moment wherever, however and whoever i celebrate it with.

3. 2009 | before everyone scattered around the globe, we were enjoying being young and wild and free! -- fast forward to 2012 and we just contain ourselves with the occasional bickering, crazy conversations and "mature" talks over facebook, skype and G+ .. nothing changed and we will always look forward to the grand pichabeer, for real!

4. 2oo9 | Puerto Prinsesa Palawan: Family. Summer. Fun! Need i say more?

5. November 2oo9 | HK-MACAU -- our first family out-of-the-country trip! What better way enjoy the city of lights,
being a kid in Disneyland and getting stunned in Macau than with the people who matter most? .. definitely with the best travel buddies ever!

6. December 26-28 2009 | Mt. Pulag: The year 2009 has been a good year for me. It had a lot of shining, precious and wonderful moments .. so it was such an amazing experience for me to cap that year at one of the most magical places on earth -- Mount Pulag. Until now, looking at the pictures, im am still and will always be in awe of this creation .. and in time, i swear! I will be going back to experience how great it is again .. soooooooon!

7. April 2010 | Summer Fun, Boracay: Being a self proclaimed beach junkie,  I fell in love with the island the first time i set foot on its powdery white sand in December 2008. After that, i always thought of spending at least one christmas, new year or summer moment there -- so just imagine how ecstatic i was when my mama decided that our summer 2010 will be in Boracay! It was another family time, it was a week before my 24th birthday and it was summer. Perfect!

8. In May 2010, there was Once Upon a Stove, a quaint coffee shop and restaurant. It was the brainchild of my sister which was a fulfillment of a childhood dream that we planned out when we were still  11 & 12 years old respectively. It served as our playground and seeing that being fulfilled by my sister is a proud moment for all of us.

9. 2010 = WORK + PLAY + LOVE + FRIENDSHIP

10. 2011? *sigh! -- that year should be a whole different post i think? haha .. anyway, my 2011 went by like a craaaaaazy roller coaster ride. and may i say craaaaazzzzy again? whew!.. but hey! i survived. learned a lot. became stronger. prayed hard and got better :) I didn't have a lot of "awww" moments and i only have this picture to post to remind me that in spite of a tough year, i was surrounded by positivity in my a new experience working in Sitel, new friends and wonderful experiences that helped me beat the odds! UH-HUH!

11. HELLO 2012 | I welcomed the new year taking in calls at work. It was the first time I was not home for the new year ritual we had ever since. Nevertheless, I enjoyed that experience. Im excited for this year, its all about positivity and keeping the faith. I claim them happy moments!

12. Singapore 2012 |  52 days in the lion city  -- getting lost, learning the culture, exploring the city, discovering new things, meeting new people, ending my 25th year to start my 26th, braving my self for my first roller coaster ride in USS, spending my summer overseas, soul-searching, crying when its gets hopeless, staying optimistic and focused, learning new things about myself, knowing my strengths and weaknesses, pushing myself to be better, being more street smart, having the courage to do things on my own, healing from the wrath of 2011, getting wasted, being sick, feeling homesick, loving myself better, valuing what i have, keeping the faith as i never did before, believing that dreams do come true and appreciating life as it is-- it was indeed worth the experience! :) 

Looking back at all of these, I can't help but smile. So what if I am a cliche in having jump shots and where i stand photos? or if i was a photo bomber or if my hair was unkempt or if i look fat in one picture? .. Now more than ever, I feel blessed that I get to wake up every single day and am given the opportunity to LIVE .. 

Life is good and God is great! Let us never stop making the most out of everyday to create and capture moments! .. AWWWW! :p
