that little girl who blogged ... : WHY I DISLIKED FEBRUARY (Past tense) ...

I hate February!

Ooops! hate is a strong word, let me rephrase that ..

I dislike February! Its mushy, everyone seems to be too mushy and im too bitter to be mushy! haha ..

Until February 2015 came and sssssiiiiigh, I had all the reasons to be mushy and in love this month .. let me enumerate thy ways ..

My February kick off was .. an argument with the fiancé. Kidding! that was just me and his hormones. hahahaha ..

Before that was an awesome January wrap-up and welcome February weekend with the highschool crew .. Carvi came over to visit us and she tagged along Bogey who in the fashion world is an upcoming fashion designer extra ordinaire, Seph Bagasao. Yehessss naman, I had a celebrity sleep in my bed!

So .. they were only here for that weekend but as usual, it was noisy and rowdy and fun. It always was with these 90's kids anyway. Haha! We are going to have a Pichabeer reunion by the end of the year and it is going to be craaaaay I tell you! haha!

Next up is Valentines day. THE Valentines day!

Well, Lt. Z didn't send me flowers, such an anti-valentines day guy that one too! And that would be too common for his amazingness, haha! So he instead sent himself here! So, on the night of that Friday the 13th, I was at the airport to pick up my date! Hihi ..

according to a study, the best places to find potential dates are 1) book store 2) airports .. hehe

this alone .. is enough reason to get mushy in February! -- and then IM LITTLE MISS CLINGY again! haha :p

And the next day, we scraped flowers, chocolates, fine dining and the cliches all together and opted for a group lunch and movie date at Nikka's suite in Yishun. The food of course, was prepared by #team5minmax's official cooking duo, King and Lizeth + Nikka. Well, nagbalat kami ni Vanessa ng patatas for them mashed potatoes!

And for our choice of V-day movie?

Yep .. thats was the movie ..

Oh! and the best thing about this Valentines day celeb that we had -- $20 all in! Woooot!!

Ok, so actually the whole stretch of that week from when I fetched Oscar at the airport has been a special week for us ..

-- Feb 14. It was our first Valentines day and it was made memorable by good food and an even better company. No chummy pa-romantic date, no one-day-only kilig hype hence it was all love for everyone!

-- Feb 15. Our 9th month and our first time celebrating a monthsary together. And just as good timing had always been our friend, we had the chance to celebrate it with his friends and cousin who were surprisingly here on a tour that we got invited to join them at Marina Bay Sands. Ang sosyal lang namin mag celebrate ng monthsary no? Ayun, sa Singapore lang, pa MBS MBS na lang. haha!

-- Feb 18. Chinese New Year holiday. I went back with him to Manila -- which made that that our first flight together na too bad, we didn't seat beside each other during the flight (so next time we're booking seats too! haha) Silip silip nalang siya from his seat in front of me then holding hands kame trying to annoy our seat mates para pag nairita eh sabihin nalang nila na "O sige, magtabi na nag kayo!" Alas, no deal! Dedma sila lahat, so tinulog nalang din namin ang 3 hours apart! hahahaha!

-- Feb 19. Finally .. meeting his family :)

-- and his best friend and 2 of his closest friends ..

-- Feb 20. To wrap up the week, before he brought me to the airport, we spent a good 4 hours on a walking food trip at Bonifacio High Street. Our version of Burgis dating 101, hahaha!

It was the longest time we've actually spent being together all day errrrrrday and what a truly happy, blissful, joyful, peaceful and totally fun time it was.

And if that week was to define my whole February, then so be it .. it was and it was all worth it :)

and even for that one single reason that this man was born on this month .. then ..

I LOVE FEBRUARY!

And while the love month fever is still on, with only a few hours left and while we are still licensed to be love struck and mushy ..

Since I kinda promised not to post overly cheesy birthday greetings on Facebook or Instagram .. I'm doing it here .. coz it ain't me without a cheesy mushy post, haha! :)

To that guy from camp, the fiancé, the boyfriend, the best friend, the frenemy, the everyday smile ..

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY LT. ZALDIVAR!

My wish and prayer for you is to always see you in that happy glow that you had on during your birthday week which made the amazing in you shine brighter. I have been blessed with that chance to witness that and I pray that you'd never lose that glow because you deserve that, always! :) With that will and commitment that you have to pursue your dreams, with your foresight and the plans that you've laid out for yourself and for us, I know you are going to rock your 30's with even more amazingness! Know that I am with you, all the way and from this year on and for every birthdays that we celebrate, sagot ko na ang pa birthday cake! :)
